Building Procedure.

At Makin Homes we have proven, organised and structured procedures.

The process starts when you first come in for a free consultation to chat about your build design, ideas, time frame, budget, and block size etc.

This is an important stage for us to get to know one another, convey your building requirements and for us to have a firmer idea of how to build a home that will function and flow, with your lifestyle.

From the ideas we discuss at consult, we have a 2nd meeting to present you with a computerized schematic design of your custom future home. This will include site plans, floor plans, elevations and a 3D image of the front and side elevation.

Then, from schematic drawings we create a detailed 15 page quote; this will include everything we discussed at consult, including any inclusions made by you.

The next phase, from schematics, we move to full working drawings, which will include a site plan, elevations, electrical layout, engineering drawings, and floor layout.

When you are comfortable with and have confirmed all of your inclusionswe will move forward to build stage.

Do you already have plans? If so, we will happily work with you to discuss any alternatives or inclusions to reach the final drawings stage with a detailed quotation
